The 5 Step Plan

SO KIMMY, HOW DO I CHANGE MY LIFE FOR GOOD?!

Firstly, find a notebook and pen and keep them with you as much as possible for a while.


1) KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T WANT
Write down the things in your life you no longer want.
Include everything you can think of, such as physical ailments, debt, people, addictions, obsessions, fears, work problems, bad memories,
self loathing, etc.
Add to the list as you need to.


2) DECIDE WHAT YOU DO WANT
Take each "Don't Want", turn it on its head, and re-write it.
For example:
"This back pain" will become "I have excellent health."
"This overdraft / credit card bill" will become "I am financially secure."
"This smoking habit" will become "My lungs are healthy."
"This rotten job" will become "I have work I love."
"This alcoholism" will become "I enjoy being sober".
"This confusion" will become "I have clarity".
"This parental abuse" will become "I accept and forgive my parents."
"This fat" will become "I am slim."
"This ugly" will become "I am beautiful."

N.B. Make sure each statement becomes entirely positive, with no mention of negative words, such as debt, pain or fat.

NOW THE FUN BIT! WRITE DOWN EVERYTHING ELSE YOU TRULY DESIRE. DREAM BIG. BE BOLD. IMAGINE YOU CAN HAVE, DO AND BE ANYTHING. THE MORE OUTRAGEOUS, THE BETTER. THIS IS WHERE WE FIND OUR LIFE PURPOSE. THIS IS WHERE WE BECOME HAPPY.

N.B. Number 2 will probably seem pie in the sky to you at this stage and that's fine!


3) IDENTIFY AND REMOVE THE NEGATIVE BELIEFS AND BLOCKS BETWEEN 1 & 2

The gap between your now and your very different future may seem huge. Write down each negative thought and belief that comes up when you compare the two. Trust me, you'll have more gremlins than Imelda Marcos has shoes. For example:
When "I'm ugly", becomes "I'm beautiful", you may say to yourself, "You're not beautiful, you look like the back of a bus and that's why your partner left you!" Write it down. At this point, you may want to comfort eat, play sad music, or throw the goldfish down the toilet so he doesn't have to look at you anymore. If you cry, that's o.k. If you need therapy, that's o.k. too.
A GOOD "SELF REMEDY" AT THIS POINT IS TO SPEAK ALOUD A CHEERFUL "HI" AND THEN "BYE" TO EACH FACET OF YOUR NEGATIVE SELF TALK.
Repeat this in a confident, patient manner, as many times as is necessary. By acknowledging and befriending your demons, they will often quickly fall away. I also recommend you teach yourself E.F.T. (free at www.emofree.com).
CELEBRATE YOUR PROGRESS!

N.B. You can, of course, choose to stay in a negative state indefinitely. That's called Learned Helplessness. It gets you (and a few billion other people) nowhere. What you focus on, you ALWAYS attract more of.
How about utilising exactly the same amount of energy and focus to completely transform your life for the better?! It's free! On tap 24 hours a day! Inside you! And then you WILL succeed!


4) VISUALISE AND FEEL YOUR NEW SITUATION AS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE IT
At least once a day, relax and visualise living the life you desire.
Put yourself in the picture and live every detail as if it were with you already. See your happy family, your opulent bank statement, your radiant health, your perfect job.
Feel how good it feels to have what you want.
Practice being happy and you will draw happiness to you like a magnet.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO FOCUS ON THE END RESULT AND NOT TO WORRY ABOUT HOW THE UNIVERSE WILL BRING YOUR NEW LIFE TO YOU.


5) LET GO OF THE OUTCOME, WHILE FOLLOWING INTUITIVE LEADS
The sooner you let go of negative thought patterns and become positive in your outlook, the faster your life will change.
Once you have asked The Universe for something, let go of your need to have it. View it as something pleasurable, but not NECESSARY to your happiness.
Follow intuitive leads. You will soon become adept at recognising them.
And when you don't get what you want, REMEMBER! The Universe is always steering you towards your goals. It KNOWS what will serve you best and what won't. When things and people fall away, it is because they are MEANT to.
Become thankful in your outlook. Appreciate little things.
